Transcational Ceremonies
Let's have the tough conversation about slowing down in life. In particular, the first wedding kiss and moments alike. With each passing year, ceremonies are beginning to feel transactional; get in, blink, get out & it's over.

Hold it!
Sharing a kiss in front of an audience poses its own set of challenges for people. Feelings of awkwardness & anxiety can leave people wanting to rush through. Holding your wedding kiss for at least 3 complete seconds or share a few kisses between smiles; ensures that it will be captured beautifully.

Have options
In addition to holding the moment longer, you will give your photographer the ability to capture a variety of angles to choose from. This will also reduce the risk of the kiss not being captured properly or if at all. Lastly, this will give your officiant the time to move out of the way from behind.
The Bottomline
Not holding the first kiss is one of the few issues I am going to bring to light when it comes to ceremonies & the wedding industry as a whole. With people's goal of making the ceremony as short as possible, let's step back and recognize we need to take pride in our photos. To be able to look back and see all the incredible moments captured by remembering to slow down and to enjoy the moment with our partners.
